Intercon Security actively recruits top-achieving graduates in the areas of law enforcement and security who are interested in this rapidly growing and rewarding Industry. With over a decade of progressive involvement in security programs, we actively recruit candidates from Community Colleges and Universities
Prior to applying, all applicants must have a valid Security Licence for the province that they reside in and must meet certain additional criteria including; provincially mandated training and a successful annual criminal background check.
All applicants must have a minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent and excellent English written and verbal skills. All applicants are also required to complete our basic aptitude test and if successful, they are given an interview.
Applicants that pass our minimum requirements during the interview process are extended a conditional offer of employment. Before they are hired they must complete our eight hour Basic Orientation Course and achieve a minimum score of 75% on the course test. A reference check is also completed which includes both business and personal references. The final stages in the hiring process are uniforming, placement at a client site, and site specific training.
