Operations Centre Services

Round-the-clock protection for the deployment of any security resource

Our Operations Centres are the cornerstones of our success and are critical to the day-to-day deployment of all security programs. This is why we have invested in the development of two ULC-Listed, Full Service Central Stations. One serves Eastern North American clients and the other serves Western North American clients.

Our Operations Centres allow us to monitor client sites 24 hours a day. With thousands of daily alarms calls, it's mandatory that our Centre staff members maintain a calm, controlled and organized environment. This is one of the reasons (along with our commitment to customer satisfaction) why our staff-to-monitored-accounts ratio continues to be one of the highest in the industry.

Intercon's Centre team members offer a minimum of 25 years cumulative security experience. Every alarm call is assessed and handled in accordance with established protocols and the common sense that can only come from hands-on experience and solid leadership. A manager, whose primary responsibility is to protect client premises, regardless of the situation, leads each shift. The manager has the authority to call upon all of Intercon's resources to make sure client sites receive continuous coverage for optimal protection.

Our senior communication coordinators act as points of contact to access and deploy services. The majority of our coordinators have worked a minimum of one year in our Security Officer or Protective Services Divisions. They are promoted from within the company, bringing to their role a thorough understanding of our clients' security needs and Intercon's integrated security offerings.

Before any Intercon team member can assume site responsibility, they must undergo several months of in-depth training, so that when they begin responding to alarm situations, they have the skills and knowledge to handle the crisis. In addition, our coordinators are required to complete several internal quality assurance courses every year, making certain our customers receive the highest standard of service. Every situation is handled quickly and effectively, utilizing customized procedures which are reviewed and revised, as necessary, to accommodate historical activities and client feedback.

When it comes to security, timely and strategic monitoring and response are imperative. Why leave it in the hands of inexperienced, understaffed or mass-marketed, product-driven firms? Intercon Security has developed the most effective Central Station operations group in the security industry today.
